OutnumberHunger House Party

I applied to host a OutnumberHunger House Party and was chosen to host. I was sent a free party pack to help host the party. I am a House Party host and I've received a free party pack with some great things to try. Everything said in this blog post, Is my own Views and my own opinions.

#OutnumberHungerParty Has come and gone!! Not a lot of people showed up today 5/17/14 as I had wished and thought would. But we managed with who did come, and had a great time getting to learn about How to Outnumber hunger by buying products to enter codes for meals. You can enter one code and feed 5 meals. So awesome to help someone with a meal, I suggest everyone try to buy some products with the logo and codes on it and enter to support your cities hunger site. I did not find a lot of participating products with the codes in my city, which was a huge disappointment, But I did manage to find a few, Thank god.

I made the food simple as almost Everyone contacted me today and said they could not come at last min. urg So I ended up just making a big pot of goulash, Who doesn't like goulash?? We love it. I made Hot dogs and hamburgers, Baby carrots with dip, Make some great tasting cupcakes. and had chex mix out. Turned out great, everyone enjoyed themselves,

We watched The Concert Dvd of some country music artist who sing to support OutNumber hunger cause, (some include Florida Georgia Line, The Band Perry, Justin Moore and more) It was great. We then ate, took pics, Kids played outside, Adults talked about hunger and how to support it. We entered the codes we did have. 5 codes= 25 meals. Awesome, better than none!!

It's easy, Head over to the houseparty.com website and sign up to be a host, They will then email you about new House Parties you can host as they become available. You just have to apply when they become available, When applying you will be asked a series of questions to make sure you’re a good fit for the House Party. After you apply you just wait for the available pick day, to see if you’re one of the lucky chosen ones that gets to host.
